About the Role:

The Workforce Specialist is a critical operational support role responsible for ensuring manufacturing lines are appropriately staffed to meet production requirements while maintaining compliance with collective bargaining agreement provisions. This position serves as the central point of coordination between Operations, Human Resources, Scheduling, and hourly employees to manage daily workforce coverage, employee call-offs, overtime assignments, shift vacancies, and staffing adjustments.

The role requires the ability to interpret and apply union contract language, seniority requirements, job bid processes, and employee qualification standards while balancing operational needs and labor compliance. The Workforce Specialist directly impacts production continuity, labor efficiency, overtime administration, and workforce utilization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate staffing coverage for all production shifts.
• Manage employee call-offs and staffing shortages.
• Fill overtime requirements in accordance with labor agreement guidelines.
• Apply seniority, bid processes, and qualification requirements when making staffing decisions.
• Partner with Production Supervisors, Scheduling, and Human Resources to maintain workforce continuity.
• Maintain staffing records, tracking coverage, and workforce reporting.
• Must be able to support with training documentation, line accountability, data entry to various system like ICE, SAP, and update shadow boards daily

About You:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic working knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Experience with Power BI reporting preferred.
• Ability to work any shift as required, including:
  • 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• Must be able to work flexible schedules and shift assignments to support operational needs.
• Must be available to work extended shifts, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, holiday and off-shift staffing to support 24/7 operations

The base salary range for this position is $62,000-$66,560 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
