Medical Device Assembler, R&D - Irvine

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Medical Device Assembler, R&D to work with a leading medical device company in Irvine. This role is based within the Research and Development department, focusing on the assembly and packaging of innovative medical products under the guidance of experienced leads and supervisors.

Shift Patterns

• Monday-Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm
• Must be flexible to work overtime

Pay Rates

• 20.00 - 23.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Medical Device Assembler, R&D

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Medical Device Assembler
• Ability to perform small part assembly work using a microscope
• Proficiency in basic math calculations required for manufacturing or assembly tasks
• Previous experience working in a clean room environment

Desirable requirements for Medical Device Assembler, R&D

• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and how it functions
• Solder and gluing experience of small parts under a microscope
• Experience manufacturing parts for R&D
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time

Role for Medical Device Assembler, R&D

• Assemble and package medical device products following written and verbal instructions
• Record production processes on build records and complete quality control forms
• Assist in the manufacturing of prototypes for R&D projects
• Identify production issues and collaborate with technicians and engineers to implement solutions
• Maintain knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing and value stream mapping

Location: Irvine. The position is based in a professional manufacturing environment.
