Technical Skills

• 7+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Stripe APIs, webhooks, payment processing, and subscription management.
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms and external APIs.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhook architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational/non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, and encryption practices.
• Experience with Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or serverless architectures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues.
• Payment industry and PCI compliance knowledge.
• Experience with POS, eCommerce, loyalty, or retail integrations.
• Exposure to microservices and distributed systems.

Preferred Experience

• Building end-to-end payment solutions using Stripe.
• Developing webhook orchestration and event processing systems.
• Managing large-scale data synchronization across multiple platforms.
• Working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

API Development & Integration

• Design and develop secure, scalable REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Build API gateways and integration layers connecting internal applications with Stripe and other third-party systems.
• Create API contracts, specifications, and documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, Managed Identities, and Azure AD authentication.
• Develop API throttling, rate limiting, caching, and performance optimization strategies.
• Design data transformation and orchestration services for integrating multiple external platforms.
• Build and maintain webhook endpoints for payment processing, subscriptions, notifications, and transaction management.
• Ensure API reliability through automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
